Walking in Wildflowers - Book 2, Yass Valley Series

Kirralee Jones eagerly accepts an invitation to perform at her best friend’s wedding in the hills of Yass Valley. Excited to get on the road and leave the city life for lush paddocks and divine country roads, she takes a well-earned month off work, to relax, unwind and get creative with her camera and guitar. Fate, as it will, has major plans in store, and the relaxing holiday she had in mind is replaced with a job outside her nursing skill-set— becoming a rouseabout. Realising country life suits her, what better time to muster all her skills and write a song about it. With her newfound love of the land, the mountains, wild horses and a cowboy, she puts all of her heart into getting ready for the Murrumbateman country music festival.

Alex Hartley has been suffering from a tragic loss and is convinced his traumatic past cannot be healed. It’s not until a guest arrives at the cottage that life takes an unexpected turn. Kiz Jones isn’t the typical city girl, neither is she afraid to speak her mind or get her hands dirty. But there is something from her past holding her back and he wants to know what it is. Trying his best to convince her to trade city life for the country, he offers her a trip to the mountains where both are faced with hurdles to overcome.

With wild spirits, a love of rural life and a yearning for freedom, will the ghosts of the past haunt or help the two lovers move forward? Will the trip to Yass Valley be what she needs to realise she can have both love and a music career?

Gina Jeffreys' Quote

We were all put on this planet for a very good reason!

There is something special inside of all of us. Some of us find it sooner than others, but you really don't want to take the ghosts of what could have been to your grave. Don’t look back one day and wonder what if.

Go chase your dreams! They aren’t gonna chase themselves.
